If you are looking for a unique birthday party for your child, getting to meet our incredible reptiles and amphibians will be an experience they'll never forget. We can bring the zoo to you, or come out and enjoy a party at our zoo. Our presentations are fun, engaging, and interactive with opportunities for our guests to pet a few of the animals. The birthday child will have an opportunity to feed one of our tortoises and hold a few of the animals for you to take photos. We provide an enjoyable experience for our audience, while instilling a greater understanding of these unique animals and the incredible lives they live.

We Bring The Zoo To
You Birthday Programs:
If you would like the convenience of having us bring the animals to you we offer
two birthday program packages both lasting up to 60 minutes and including 10 to 13 animals including amphibians,
turtles, lizards, snakes, and the option of an alligator.
The Standard
Birthday
presentation is $135.00 and includes amphibians, turtles, lizards, small snakes, and a 6 foot boa constrictor.
Presentations are for groups of up to 12 kids. There is an additional mileage charge of 50 cents per mile
over 120 miles round trip from Owatonna, MN.
The Deluxe Gator Party presentation includes the same animals as above but also includes one
of small alligators and instead of a 6 foot boa, you will get a 7 foot or longer boa or python. All of the kids will
receive a RAD Zoo temporary tattoo and you can take a groups picture with the kids holding the large snake. This program
is $175 for up to 25 kids. Mileage charges may also apply.
The Premium Party
presentation includes a dozen animals. Included in the animals is a Red-eyed Treefrog, a chameleon, a 7 foot or longer
boa or python, and the alligator. This party also includes an extra fifteen minutes for each of the children to
hold the large snake while you take their picture and a family picture holding the snake or the alligator. Unlimited
guests. This program is $215.
A $5 charge will be added if paying by credit card to help cover our card processing
fees.
Our programs
can be held outside if the temperature is between 60 and 85 degrees and there is a shaded area, otherwise the program needs
to be held indoors in a temperature controlled building.
Have Your Party At The Zoo:
Having your party at the zoo is another great option.We are located at 3297 County Road 45 N in Owatonna, MN off I-35 on the east side of the interstate between exit 43 and 45 (About an hours drive from Minneapolis or St. Paul). Your family and guests will get to watch one of our "Everglades Encounter" shows after which they will get to pet an alligator. You will also have our large birthday pavilion available to you for your 2 hour time block for any activities you choose, and have time to walk around our zoo seeing all kinds of interesting and unusual animals. We will bring additional animals to the tent for your guests to meet based on the party package you select.
Standard Party includes 2 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 15 people, and a visit with a tortoise that the birthday child can feed and either a boa constrictor or an alligator that the kids can touch. $150 plus tax
Deluxe Party includes 2 hour in the birthday tent, admission for up to 20 people, and a visit from 4 live reptiles and a printed 4x6 photo of the birthday child holding one of the reptiles. $195 plus tax.
Birthday Time Slots - There will be a show at the stage going on during each time slot that the kids can watch. We provide the animals - you provide the food. Call to reserve your spot today.
Monday - Fridays: 3 to 6pm (choose your 2 hour block)
Saturdays: 11am to 1pm / 1:30 to 3:30pm / 4 to 6pm
Sundays: 12:30 to 2:30pm / 3 to 5pm
We maintain the highest standards of safety in animal handling and do not use venomous animals in our presentations. We are happy to provide references and proof of insurance upon request.

If you are having your party at the zoo the kids can paint a gecko suncatcher for only $3 per child. We provide the paint and brushes and the suction cup hook to hang it up. This is something fun for the kids to do and can take the place of party boxes or gift bags.
