Welcome to our web site!

We bring the zoo to you, or come and visit us

Come and experience Minnesota’s premier reptile destination. Newly opened in Oct. 2009 we are already one of the Mid-west’s largest reptile displays, and an opportunity for a fun family adventure. Marvel at the amazing creatures of the reptile and amphibian world including snakes, turtles, lizards, crocodilians, toads, frogs, and salamanders. Our zoo is home to 100 kinds of animals from all over the world exhibited in naturalistic recreations of their native environments. Gaze upon “Big Al” the monster 12 foot-long alligator and “Bella” the 14 foot-long python.  Catch our daily “Everglades Encounter” show focusing on the animals of the Florida swamp, followed by an opportunity to pet an alligator or a snake. We also have a birthday pavilion and party options available for guests wanting a unique birthday experience. Many of our guests will have an opportunity to feed salad to our tortoises or watch many of our other animals feed. Finish your visit with a stop in our gift shop offering a variety of animal related toys, books, and other gifts.

We are located at 3297 County Road 45 N in Owatonna, MN. We are on the north side of town on the east frontage road of I-35.  The Owatonna airport is directly across from us.

We still offer our traveling wildlife programs where we bring the zoo to you. Our
highly informative, interactive programs feature a variety of fascinating reptiles and amphibians. We provide an enjoyable experience for our audience, while instilling a greater understanding of these unique animals and the incredible lives they live. Presentations  are available for a variety of different venues including but not limited to: schools, after-school programs, libraries, daycare centers, home school students, scouting groups, church groups, civic organizations, senior centers, company family  days, fairs, and birthday parties.
