This group meets the first Friday of every month at 7:00pm in room 335 of Borlaug Hall on the University of Minnesota, St. Paul campus. Anyone with an interest in reptiles and amphibians is welcome to attend. Most months this group will have a guest speaker presenting on a reptile or amphibian related topic. The purpose of the meetings is to educate the public about the ecological roles of reptiles and amphibians and to promote their conservation.

It maintains a variety of current herp related information including taxonomic research, upcoming events, open positions and internships, and an extensive directory of herpetologists.
