Description:  These lizards have two green stripes running down either side of the back with a wider brown to black stripe in the middle. Other scattered patterning consisting of greens, blacks, and browns cover the sides, legs, and heads of the Chinese Tree Dragon. Adult Chinese Tree Dragons will reach an average length of 8-14 inches.

Range:  Southwest China

Habitat:  This lizard is found in high elevated tropical climates, usually in the trees.

Diet:
Wild: Chinese Tree Dragons are insectivores and will eat any insect or bug they can catch and fit in their mouth including; termites, ants, flies, and worms.
Zoo: Crickets

Reproduction:  They lay an average of 6 eggs during July or August. The nest is a shallow hole in the ground.
